The name Rotten Foetus was given to the seal because of a disturbing moment that I lived with my second daughter. Premature, she was born eight months, which is not very natural and, less than a month old, contracted pneumonia that almost killed her. She was hospitalized four times, weighing less than a pound and a half … The first time she was hospitalized, I, speaking to the ICU doctor at the time, knew that my daughter’s chances were few, according to the doctor told me “she’s just a fetus (at that point she kept looking for a word to complete the sentence, and then she spoke) judged, with her lungs badly damaged.” It was clear she was going to say that the baby was just a rotten fetus !!! If she were talking to a colleague, she would certainly use that term !!!! After some time, my daughter recovered and I gave that name to the seal in honor of her. That’s why I named it ROTTEN FOETUS. Since then I have released some tapes, CDs-r, CDs, and 7 “ep.
From 2000 to 2007 the label was called ROTTEN FOETUS PRODUCTIONS, I made 14 releases with it, so-called (RFP), from 2008 the label had a change in name for ROTTEN FOETUS RECORDS and with it I made 59 releases, called (Fetos).
In 2015 I decided to stop the label for a while. But I was a little stuck with the releases, so I created a second CEMITÉRIO RECORDS label in order to keep me alive on the underground, my idea was to do a couple of or three releases until I returned with the ROTTEN FOETUS RECORDS. Instead the label had a good acceptance with its releases and today (beginning of 2018) is already in its 24th release (Zumbi).
In addition to the release of Black Metal bands, I created a sub label called “Traces Of The Night Records” which is already in its 4th release.
And now in this year of 2018 the ROTTEN FOETUS RECORDS label returns with full force, with the same purpose of throwing rotten and brutal bands. It is totally geared towards the world scenario when it comes to sales, with a site fully adapted for this task.
